The Messe Essen was the centre stage for the Techno-Classica world trade fair for oldtimers, classic and prestige cars, spare parts and restoration
companies to display to the public from 6-9 April 2006.
The trip was organised by the Mercedes-Benz club UK with 122 members flying, driving or traveling by coach to
the German town of Essen for this yearly event.
The quality of restored classic cars was excellent
with restorers like, Mercedes-Benz Classic Centre,
Kienle, H K Engineering displaying Mercedes-Benz for
sale. There were equally excellent displays by other
marque restorers of Porsche, Ferrari and Jaguar.
The trade stands of second hand and new parts were
equally useful if not to buy but to look at the
quality of parts on offer.
